Dual-head powder + weigh-fill bag-filling packaging machine

This machine consists primarily of a bag-feeding fully automatic packaging machine paired with a twin-screw combination weigher. It is suitable for the precise, multi-specification packaging of powdered materials, with weighing ranges covering 100–1000g, 500–2500g and 1000–5000g, and offers excellent measurement accuracy. The equipment allows for rapid switching between different bag sizes; the width of the bag-clamping mechanism can be automatically and swiftly adjusted at the touch of a button simply by entering the bag width on the touchscreen. The machine is equipped as standard with an intelligent detection system which automatically halts the filling and heat-sealing processes when there is no product present or the bag opening is not fully open, thereby effectively reducing waste of packaging materials and raw materials and saving on production costs.

Workflow diagram:

  1. Manually spray-code the bags (or apply a ribbon code using a machine), place them in the bag hopper (set to manual mode), measure the bag width, enter the width via the touchscreen, and the machine will automatically adjust the width of the bag clamps.
  2. First station: the machine automatically picks up a bag and feeds it to the turntable clamps.
  3. Second station: ribbon coding.
  4. Third station: automatic bag opening (The bag is opened simultaneously from both the top and bottom, with air blown from above to assist the opening process)
  5. At the fourth station, a servo-driven screw conveyor performs coarse filling. A dust extraction port is installed at the filling position to remove dust generated during filling.
  6. At the fifth station, the bag is weighed, and the weight data is fed back to the PLC to automatically calculate the required top-up amount for the next station; this station is also equipped with a dust extraction mechanism to remove dust escaping from the bag opening.
  7. Station 6: Based on the weighing data from the previous station, a small amount of material is added. Servo-screw filling is used here as well, and a dust extraction port is installed to remove dust generated during filling.
  8. Station 7: The bag opening is smoothed out before entering the heat-sealing position; the bag is degassed before sealing.
